Filters, filters everywhere: dealing with lead in tap water in large buildings

Riley Mulhern is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Studies at the University of Colorado Boulder whose research focuses on helping people make informed decisions to reduce environmental health risks. He studies drinking water inequities across social, demographic, and spatial lines, with research spanning private well water quality, lead exposure, PFAS, mining-related environmental health impacts, and point-of-use water treatment. He holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences and Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an MS in Environmental Engineering from С»ÆÊé Boulder, and a BS in Physics from Wheaton College.
