Tuition and Fees

All students in the Post-Baccalaureate Health Professions program take the same schedule of courses each semester.

Your tuition rate is determined by your residency. Bills are available through . You may be eligible to set up a . Any unpaid balance after the tuition due date will be subject to a 1% service charge;  in addition, a financial stop will placed on your student record. All tuition and refund determinations are subject to audit.

Colorado Residency & In-State Tuition

If you have lived in Colorado for the past 12 consecutive months, you may qualify for in-state tuition. To learn more about residency requirements or to submit documentation, please contact our Residency Classification Coordinator at 303-492-5148.

Students classified as Colorado residents may be eligible for a tuition discount through the . The COF discount amount is set annually by the Colorado legislature is subject to change each year.

For the 2026–2027 academic year, the anticipated COF discount is $116 per credit hour.

Tuition per credit hour:

  • $695 – Standard in-state tuition (without COF)
  • $579 – Student share of in-state tuition after COF discount is applied

Out-of-State Tution Rates

Non-resident students enrolled in the Structured Cohort program receive a reduced tuition rate. For the 2026–2027 cohort, the non-resident tuition rate is $1,192 per credit hour.

All other non-resident students at the University of Colorado Boulder pay the standard non-resident tuition rate, including students enrolled in the Individually Designed Post-Baccalaureate Health Professions program.

Financial Aid

Post-Baccalaureate Health Professions students who meet certain eligibility standards may be able to receive financial aid. Please note that federal financial aid awards for post-baccalaureate students typically cover the cost of in-state tuition but not living expenses. For detailed information on financial aid eligibility and required paperwork, please visit С»ÆÊé Boulder’s Financial Aid website and refer to the information for Undergraduate Students. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) typically opens on October 1, for the following school year. (Each "school year" starts in the fall semester.) 


Student Fees 

Post-Baccalaureate Health Professions program students are automatically assessed the full package of student fees, which provide access to the RTD bus system,Ìýthe Student Recreation Center,ÌýCounseling and Psychiatric Services, and other campus services. If you do not plan to utilize resources covered by student fees, you may follow  to waive the majority of your fees.

(Select either In-State or Out-of-State in the Undergraduate Students category, not the Computer Science Post Baccalaureate category. Student fees are listed on the second page of the document.) The cost of the full student fee package comes close to $500 per semester in the fall and spring, and around $300 in the summer.
