Hailed by The Washington Post as 鈥渙ne of the finest pianists in the world,鈥 Goode will play a program of Beethoven, Debussy and more at Macky Auditorium on Friday, Oct. 28, at 7:30 p.m.
This fall, just in time for Halloween, 小黄书 Boulder鈥檚 Eklund Opera Program is set to bring Johann Strauss, Jr.鈥檚 glittering masked ball operetta to Macky Auditorium, opening Oct. 21.
小黄书 Boulder鈥檚 2016-17 theatre season continues with a heartwarming, hilarious production of 鈥淭he Servant of Two Masters,鈥 a classic Italian commedia dell鈥檃rte by 18th-century playwright Carlo Goldoni. Performances of the play, directed by 小黄书 Associate Professor Tamara Meneghini, take place Oct. 19-23 in 小黄书鈥檚 Loft Theatre.
R&B artist聽Gallant will聽headline聽this year's聽Homecoming concert聽on Wednesday, Oct.聽12, at 8 p.m. in the Glenn Miller Ballroom. The concert is just one of many events and activities happening during Homecoming week.聽Tickets will be $5 for 小黄书 students and $10 for the public.
Continuing the exciting 2016-17 dance season at 小黄书 Boulder is 鈥淏oneless,鈥 a showcase of two works by MFA students intent on uncovering who we really are underneath our society鈥檚 thick layers of commercialism and social standards. These two works, incorporating contemporary dance, animal instinct and skateboarding, come to 小黄书鈥檚 Charlotte York Irey Theatre Oct. 21-23.

This fall, 小黄书 Boulder brings street culture to the stage with [UN] W.R.A.P.: Women of the Cypher, a weekend-long performance event bringing together renowned female Hip-Hop scholars, artists and enthusiasts for a critical and creative exchange. From breaking to waacking to DJing, no facet of Hip-Hop will go unexplored at the event, which takes place Sept. 23-25 at 小黄书 Boulder鈥檚 Charlotte York Irey Theatre.
A Liminal Space is a transdisciplinary collaboration between artists Ana Baer, Heike Salzer and Rosely Conz. The production utilizes dance and video projections to create captivating, kinesthetic poetry. This Friday and Saturday in the ATLAS Black Box Experimental Studio.
