Former Colorado running back Rashaan Salaam was found dead Monday night in a Boulder park. "The Buff Family has lost an outstanding young man and a great Buff today," Athletic Director Rick George said. "We are heartbroken for Rashaan and his family and our thoughts and prayers are with them at this very difficult time."
For the second time in his head coaching career, Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre has led his team to a bowl berth.

С»ÆÊé head coach Mike MacIntyre has been named the Walter Camp 2016 Coach of the Year, joining Bill McCartney (1989) as the only coaches in Colorado history to be named the National Coach of the Year. The honor for MacIntyre comes on the heels of being named the Pac-12 Conference Coach of the Year on Tuesday.

No. 22 Colorado knocked off its second consecutive top-10 opponent, defeating No. 9 UCLA 1-0 on Thursday afternoon at Prentup Field. The Buffs were coming off a 3-2 double-overtime victory at No. 10 California on Sunday. The Buffs will host No. 4 Southern California Sunday at noon.
