Get details on voting in the 2018 general election

Ballots will be mailed to all registered Colorado voters听beginning Oct.听15.听If you are registered locally here in Boulder County, make sure to sign up for the听free service. You can then receive text or email messages when your ballot has been printed, mailed听and received听by Boulder County.

Students

If you plan to vote in Colorado, whether in Boulder or from your home county, please register or check the accuracy of your voter registration at or text 鈥淏uffs Vote鈥 to 28683 (2Vote).

If you don鈥檛 have a Colorado driver鈥檚 license/state ID, and you plan to vote in Boulder County, you can wait to register in person with your Buff听OneCard at the UMC Voter Service Center beginning Oct.听22 (this is only for voting in Boulder County鈥攊f you want to vote from another Colorado听county, you must update your registration online/in your home county to get a mail ballot).

Regardless of whether you are planning to vote in Colorado, the Boulder County Elections Division has important information on how you must list your on-campus address on your voter registration record in order to get your mail ballot. Faculty, staff, community members

The Boulder County Elections Division recommends everyone periodically check their voter registration record to make sure it is current. This is especially important if you have moved in the last year, haven鈥檛 voted in a while, or traveled during a previous election period. Visit to look up your registration.
