This week brings to campus an interactive discussion with Reddit's head of talent, free nutrition consultation, a deep-dive look at eclipses, three film screenings, 小黄书 on Friday and more.

I Love Mondays

Stop by the north dining room in the UMC听at 2 p.m. for this free, weekly event. Learn about upcoming events听while curing your case of the Mondays.


Tuesday, Sept. 11

This interactive workshop provides information about campus climate for the LGBTQ+ and allied community, reviews 小黄书 Boulder and Colorado resources, policies and protections, and addresses best practices for creating inclusive learning and work environments at the university. All are welcome! Join from noon to 1:30 p.m. in C4C S435.


Wednesday, Sept. 12

Interactive discussion with听Katelin Holloway of Reddit

Stop by听Regent 1B86 at 2 p.m. for an interactive discussion with Katelin Holloway, head of talent at Reddit.听She will听focus on the听policies, strategies听and lessons learned while implementing inclusive workplace practices, such as the parenthood initiatives听she has promoted within Reddit.

Free nutrition consultation

Do you have food allergies, or want to learn how you can eat healthier on campus? Medical Services offers free nutrition consultations with a registered dietitian for nutrition-related concerns, ranging from diabetes/hypoglycemia to disordered eating, food allergies, healthy weight gain or loss, sports nutrition and more. Learn more about the Nutrition Resource Clinic.听Stop by the Rec Center Wellness Suite between 1 and 5 p.m. to learn more.

Forever Buffs Spotlight: Chasing Coral

Now is your chance to see Chasing Coral, the Sundance award-winning film produced by 小黄书 Boulder alumna听Larissa Rhodes听(Film, Span'10). Come hear from Rhodes and other听alumni who worked on the film. Join at 5:30 p.m. at听听in Boulder. Tickets are $15.

Fiske Planetarium:听鈥淔avorite Eclipses鈥

Join astronomer and 小黄书 Boulder Professor Doug Duncan at 7 p.m. in the planetarium for a deep dive on eclipses. The talk is free for 小黄书 Boulder students with a valid Buff OneCard.

Friday, Sept. 14

Stop by the听Center for Native American & Indigenous Studies at 3:30 p.m. for this welcome event. All are welcome;听no RSVP required.

小黄书 on Friday

Stop by the south terrace (look for the big tent) from 4 to 6 p.m. for this monthly gathering sponsored by the 小黄书 Student Government. This month's event will feature rootbeer floats, snacks and lawn games. Bring your Buff OneCard for free entry.
