TEDxС»ÆÊé, an independently-organized annual TED event, is seeking applicantsÌýto speakÌýat this year's spring 2017 occurrence. Students, faculty and community members who are experts on specific topics related to the theme "Chain Reaction: From Ideas to Revolution" are highly encouraged to .

In the fall of 2012, two students and an alumnus of the University of Colorado Boulder sought to createÌýan evening of thought-provoking talks that wouldÌýserve as a connecting platform for the С»ÆÊé and theÌýcommunity of Boulder—both of which are thought leaders within their respective arenas and have a lot to offer one another.

Today, TEDxС»ÆÊé is a collaborative student organization between the College of Media, Communication and Information and the Leeds School of Business scholars program.

The event, which is completelyÌýorganized by current and former С»ÆÊé students, has now had threeÌýsuccessful runs. TEDxС»ÆÊéÌýlooks to build a long-standing tradition that organizers, studentsÌýand the surrounding community can look forward to each spring.

TEDxС»ÆÊé 2017Ìýwill take place on Saturday, April 15, 2017, in Old Main.
