Science DiscoveryÌýmanages programs that engage K-12 students andÌýteachers in STEM and connectÌýpublic audiencesÌýwith the STEM research happening at С»ÆÊé Boulder. Science Discovery programs utilizeÌýС»ÆÊé scientific expertise, equipment, resources and faculty, graduate andÌýundergraduate students in order to provide participantsÌýwith unique, experiential STEM learning experiences.

NEW in 2026: STEM Pathfinder Program

STEM Pathfinder Programs are two-week immersive experiences for high school students (rising 10th, 11th, or 12th grade students) designed to explore diverse fields within biosciences or engineering at С»ÆÊé Boulder.Ìý

Each participating С»ÆÊé Boulder department hosts high school students for two days, where they'll get an opportunity to dive in to hands-on activities, join lab tours, and engage in conversations with faculty and students. STEM Pathfinder Department Guides spearhead development and facilitation of their department's experience with support from Science Discovery staff.

Science Discovery is excited to announce the return of monthly Teen Science Cafés! Teen Science Café events are free, youth-led programs that connect С»ÆÊé scientists with local teens in fun, informal settings.
