С»ÆÊé Boulder Research Cybersecurity Program

The Research Innovation Office (RIO) and the are implementing a new program to address recent changes in cybersecurity requirements implemented by the US federal government.ÌýThe С»ÆÊé Boulder Research Cyber Security Program was necessitated by the Executive branch’s creation of the Controlled Unclassified Information (С»ÆÊéI) program, which establishes policies and practices standardizing the way USG agencies handle unclassified information requiring protection.Ìý The new С»ÆÊéI policies and procedures affect many federally-funded contracts and grants at С»ÆÊé Boulder.ÌýÌý
The С»ÆÊé Boulder Research Cyber Security Program will provide support and resources to assist faculty and staff in accomplishing research activities while remaining in compliance with С»ÆÊéI policies and practices.ÌýThe program will include С»ÆÊéI and research cyber security training, consulting services, and С»ÆÊéI-compliant information technology (IT) services.ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý
The С»ÆÊéI and research cyber security training and consulting services are actively being developed by RIO and the ITSO.ÌýInvestigating С»ÆÊéI-compliant IT service options requires your assistance to determine current information technology utilization in research groups across campus.ÌýPlease make time on your calendars to assist them if contacted directly regarding the program.
