Four physics students and two alumni are among this year’s recipients of the prestigious National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowships. Overall, 40 С���� Boulder students received fellowships, placing the university in the top 15 nationwide.

Congratulations to senior Raymond Anchordoquy, graduate students Leo Illing, Miles Mackenzie, and Julia White, and alumni Aaron Barrios and Blake Maly. Three additional physics students and alumni received an honorable mention in this year’s competition.

The fellowship is highly competitive and recognizes outstanding students from across the United States in science, technology, engineering and math disciplines. Recipients receive professional development, research opportunities and three years of financial support with an annual stipend of $37,000.��
