The SPIKE Center partners with two units to support graduate student success

This spring, the SPIKE Center for Sustainability Education at С»ÆÊé Boulder partnered with two units administratively housed in the Graduate School—the Center for Native American and Indigenous Studies (CNAIS) and the Center for African and African American Studies (CAAAS)—to support graduate student success.

The new Tribal Sustainability Leaders Fellowship (TSLF), in partnership with CNAIS, will support graduate students at С»ÆÊé Boulder to become the next generation of tribal sustainability and environment leaders. Meanwhile, the CAAAS/SPIKE Graduate Fellows will support two graduate students within the CAAAS in their study of sustainability and how it impacts the African and African American communities.

"At С»ÆÊé Boulder we have a vision of sustainability that is not concentrated in a single school or sector but one that instead sees sustainability pervading every sector, every academic unit and, ultimately, every student," said Vice Chancellor for Sustainability Andrew Mayock in the CAAAS announcement.
