Juneteenth/Independence Day Holidays and Time Tracking
A quick heads up on a couple of upcoming holidays:
- Juneteenth – Friday, June 19th
- Independence Day (observed) – Friday, July 3rd
If you use AiM to record your time, please be sure to code your holiday hours using the appropriate holiday leave code for your employee type. If you’re unsure which code to use, check in with your supervisor or your unit’s timekeeper.
If you’re scheduled or required to work on either/both of these holidays, please check in with your supervisor for guidance on how to record your time and any applicable holiday pay or leave options.
Looking ahead on the :ÌýOur I&R IT, I&R HR and I&R Accounting teams are continuing to work with campus HR and AssetWorks on the upcoming Time & Labor project. The work these teams are doing now will ensure that time tracked in AiM continues to feed smoothly into the new Time and Labor system when it launches on February 28, 2027. There’s nothing you need to do right now. We’ll provide plenty of notice for changes (such as updates to any of our current timecodes or time entry processes) as we get closer to February. If you have questions regarding the T&L project, please email me at aliyah.vigil@colorado.edu, and I will help answer or direct your questions to the appropriate team member.
