LGBTQ+ Allyship in Higher Education (formerly Safe Zone) Training coming Tues. June 23
Join IROCC's LGBTQ+ subcommittee for an opportunity to learn more about how to be inclusive, mindful, and a great ally to the LGBTQ+ community and engage with a group of like-minded and supportive individuals. We've coordinated with the Pride Office in the Department of Student life to provide this training in such a way that is tailored to full-time staff, so these concepts can be applied to workgroups and interactions with the community.

LGBTQ+ Allyship in Higher Education (formerly Safe Zone)
LGBTQ+ Allyship at С»ÆÊé Boulder is hosted by the Pride team within The Center for Cultural Connections and Community. This interactive training focuses on the experiences of LGBTQ+ students in higher education, how to create supportive environments and how to be a better ally.Â
Participants will:Â
- Learn about LGBTQ+ folks’ experiences on campusÂ
- Explore ways to improve inclusion and belongingÂ
- Engage in open, supportive dialogue and reflection
Light snacks and beverages will be provided!
