Jewish Dissent, Failure, and the Intricacies of Exile

Flier for Ethnic Studies Event "Jewish Dissent, Failure, and the Intricacies of Exile" the flier background is an image of a group of four turned away with their hands behind their backs while bending.

We are very excited to invite you to our Panel and Workshop in LA: Jewish Dissent, Failure, and the Intricacies of Exile on May 3, 2026. This gathering brings together three queer artists born and educated within the Zionist regime of occupied Palestine. Drawing on practices of decolonial healing, failure, exile vs diaspora, and grief, this panel intimately explores dissent through vulnerability and chosen weakness; dissent as renunciation of Israeli citizenship, dissent as refusal, and dissent as reimagining previously siloed potentialities of care. This is a unique opportunity for those in relation with all fractions of Jewish lineages to reconsider the revolutionary futures and underlying roots of our violent reality.
